Scan selling 1GiB AMD Radeon HD 2900 XT for 269 inc in UK today

Scan are selling 1GiB Radeon HD 2900 XTs for £269 inc VAT, today only, down from their usual price of £288 inc. That's a good chunk less than the other online retailers we know of in the UK that are selling the 1GiB boards.

So if you were pondering a HD 2900 XT purchase today or in the very near future, the 1GiB version might well appeal. Scan are also selling a GeForce 8800 GTX (reference spec) for £298 inc, today only too, if the NVIDIA side of the fence appeals. That price is around £18 less than normal, too.
