Sparkle announce PCI GeForce 8500

Sparkle have formally announced their PCI Conventional GeForce 8500 GT, bringing DirectX 10 to the shortest of modern buses.

Shown at Computex earlier this year, the PCIc-riding 8500 GT provides G86, up to 512MiB of memory and a single DVI output. It's a shame Sparkle didn't see fit to give the product a pair of DVI connectors, making it even more suitable to those looking to simply add more displays to their system.

G86 features NVIDIA's latest video acceleration system, which also makes the board attractive for those looking to build tiny media PCs, but we wonder about slot limitations in that kind of setting.

The board is passively cooled, takes up two slots in any system, and it's set to be available from the time of writing.
