Xbox 360 hardware architect inteview on Channel 9

The director of architecture for the Xbox 360 hardware has been
interviewed on Microsoft's Channel 9. Nick Baker, ex-3DO, talks about
the hardware design, the collaboration with ATI for Xenos, parallel
programming constructs and multi-core program development, the stripped
down version of the NT kernel running on the PowerPC processor
architecture and more.
One of the more interesting topics is how close the shipping 360 is to the very first hardware concepts, and while the implementation is different -- it specified many-core x86 for a start -- the basic concepts are intact, with multi-core processing and a discrete graphics processor.
Nick talks about hardware changes that affect cost reduction efforts, the design history from inception to shipping and more.
