PS3 Firmware 1.81: Small fix to RGB settings

By means of its new official blog, Sony Computer Entertainment announced a new firmware update for its PlayStation 3. Released today, the update only introduces a small XMB patch, intended to fix a bug that would see XMB revert RGB options to HDMI users from “Full†to “Limited†without asking for user’s consent.
The blog entry seems also to imply, without further precisions, that updates were made to the backward compatibility functions of the console.
Later today, the new firmware should be available for download from the System Update option on the PS3 XMB interface, or directly from the dedicated Playstation.com page, where you can download it and transfer it later to your console HDD.
