Analyst expects 30% increase for TSMC shipments in Q3

Citing an analyst from the French financial group BNP Paribas, Economic
Daily News (via DigiTimes) is reporting that the major semiconductor
foundry TSMC will see its shipments grow 30% in the third quarter of
the year. This one third increase is explained by the analyst to be a
result of a strong demand from PC sector.
TSMC's fabrication lines are also expected to reach over their maximum output capacity (102%) during the same Q3 period. Looking further ahead, the analyst predicted that by the end of the quarter inventories will build and thus companies will lower their orders by then.
TSMC produces parts for NVIDIA, AMD, Microsoft and many others fabless or production-constrained companies.
