Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6850 and Core 2 Duo E6750 @ HEXUS

Our Hexian compatriots were there on launch yesterday with analysis of
a couple of Intel's new processor offerings, both riding Intel's latest
bump of AGTL+. The latest 333MHz quad-pumped bus is ridden by new silicon revisions of Conroe and Kentsfield on the desktop side, resulting in new Core 2 Extreme, Core 2 Quad and Core 2 Duo processors for you the consumer.
The Core 2 Extreme QX6850 is a 3GHz quad-core part at 130W, while Core 2 Duo E6750 is the same speed as the 2.66GHz E6700 already available, at the same TDP.
The big question is whether the faster AGTL+ implementation helps performance, and whether the new silicon revision does anything new. HEXUS find out, pondering the impact of the upcoming price cuts this month, too.
