Appendix A: Sample Grids for G70 and R580

Here you can find the B3D plots of the sub-pixel sample grids for NVIDIA G70 (and all of NV4x, and G7x too), and ATI's R580. Note that 8xS for NVIDIA isn't true 8xRGMS (by any means, rather it's 4xRGMS + 2xOGSS), and ATI's 6x mode was the highest multisample count available on consumer hardware on a single GPU, and had been since ATI R300 (Radeon 9700 PRO), meaning it took some time (two complete generations) before it was dethroned.
