With this Far Cry test on the X700 XT we can see a bit more of an even distribution between the performance drop for enabling the various different IQ features. In this instance we see that the 128MB frame buffer isn't hurting the fill-rate performance at 1600x1200 very much, indicating that there isn't a huge quantity of texture being used in this test. The X700 XT appears to have enough performance to give you a number of IQ options whilst still giving high frame rates.

X700 PRO (FPS) | 640x480 | 800x600 | 1024x768 | 1280x1024 | 1600x1200 |

4x FSAA | 85.5 | 80.6 | 62.1 | 41.3 | 28.5 |
4x FSAA + 8x AF | 84.0 | 72.1 | 52.1 | 35.7 | 25.6 |
% Diff from Normal | 640x480 | 800x600 | 1024x768 | 1280x1024 | 1600x1200 |
8x AF | -0.7% | -3.0% | -14.5% | -17.8% | -13.8% |
4x FSAA | -0.9% | -6.5% | -23.2% | -30.1% | -29.2% |
4x FSAA + 8x AF | -2.5% | -16.3% | -35.5% | -39.5% | -36.4% |
As with the XT the X700 PRO also has a fairly even performance drop for enabling each of the IQ features. In the PRO's case, though, FSAA is a little more costly, relative to the XT, due to its lower fill-rate to bandwidth ratio.
