Nearly 10 years in development according to the Shacknews preview, Team Fortress 2 will finally be out towards the tail end of this year, and it promises to be one of the gaming and graphical highlights on the PC in 2007.

We showed you the HWG tech demo on HEXUS.tv recently and the evolution of Source that'll ship with TF2 will contain the facial animation technology that we talked about.

Shacknews talk about the shaded art style used by TF2 via Source, not just in a stylistic or aesthetic sense, but as a conduit to help the gamer get more information out of any given frame on screen, to help them play the game better.

TeamB3D doesn't game that much together after hours, but this game looks set to turn that tide.
