Microsoft renews its ''Bringing it home'' promotion for E3 07

Last year Microsoft used its Xbox Live Marketplace platform to bring demos and videos that were shown at E3 and other game events directly to gamers’ hard drives. This operation helped publicise many of the games displayed at these shows, as much as it was well received by Xbox 360 owners who could get the latest HD trailers and demos from the show floor playing directly on their console.
Such a successful operation could not have been be canned and left on a shelf somewhere in Redmond, which is why Microsoft announced that “Bringing it home†will come back this July for the 2007 edition of the new downsized E3.
Content, ranging from gamers pictures to trailers and demos, will be made available daily during the exposition (July 10 - 13). This content will feature already announced games such as Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, Assassin’s Creed, BioShock, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Project Gotham Racing 4, Burnout Paradise, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, The Simpsons Game, Guitar Hero III, FIFA Soccer 08, Madden NFL 08, NCAA Football 08, Need for Speed: ProStreet, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 and WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008.
Additionally, MS also announced that later in the E3 week the company will also offer a high-definition version of their now-ritualistic, pre-E3 press conference. These press conferences are often the place where the most important announcements for new products are being made.
