AMD Releases ATI Catalyst 7.2

Just moments ago AMD released this months update to the ATI Catalyst
drivers, bringing the Radeon powering software up to version 7.2.
Along with the usual bug fixes, ATI has reported significant performance improvements for OpenGL under Vista for X1K family users with gains of up to 25% in Doom 3, 48% in Quake 4, and 21% in Prey. Windows XP users will be also be happy to see that the Catalyst Control Center load time and responsiveness improvements which Vista users were treated to last month have been ported over, and that the updated real-time image quality preview which improves the overall usefulness of the feature has also made it's way to their OS of choice.
You can download these drivers for Windows Vista, Windows Vista 64-bit, Windows XP, Windows XP 64-bit, and Windows XP Media Center Edition. There are also new drivers for Linux 32-bit and 64-bit.
