FSAA Quality
Let's take a look at some screenshots of the output with FSAA enabled.
The shots on the left are taken at a resolution of 640x480. The image on the right is a close up, four times its initial size.

The close up shots easily show that 2X FSAA is providing extra samples reasonably well on both the near horizontal and near vertical edges. With Quincunx FSAA enabled we can see that this offers about the same sub sample patterns, but we get the characterised slight blurring of the output image, which is a product of mixing in samples from neighbouring pixels. 4X FSAA seems to be quite close to 2X FSAA in its sample output, though it is possible to see two extra gradients in there, but they are quite small on the close up shots.
