MBTR Demo

Once again, we see that MBTR is fairly CPU limited on this system right up to 1024x768; KYROII maintains a respectable performance throughout though. The performance drop from 16bit to 32bit is fairly low, but this would suggest that KYROII is fairly texture bandwidth limited; FSAA performances also back this up.

The comparison between KYRO Vivid! and KYROII Vivid!XS shows that KYROII has a healthy dose of performance over its elder sibling, and, once again, exceeding the advantage that its fillrate increase would suggest. Running higher resolutions in this game with KYROII appears to be a much more realistic prospect.

Comparing back to the original Vivid! KYRO review we can see that, again, even in the last two months some driver improvements have been made that improve the performance of this title, by quite some considerable margin in some cases.
