Next is Final Reality. Here we got some excellent 2D and 3D scores, but the final score was brought down somewhat by the low bus rate score.
Then we have 3DMark 2000. Scores here definitely showed the lack of T&L support. Generally though, with that considered, scores were pretty good. 1024x768x32 really shows our first noticeable drop, due to a bandwidth and fill-rate limitation.
Anti-Aliasing Performance
We took a look at anti-aliasing performance with Breakneck as well as MDK2. With MDk2, 2x AA had good performance in 16-bit up to 1024x768, while in 32-bit it performed well to 800x600. With 4x AA, performance was good at 800x600 with 16-bit, while 32-bit had low performance even at 640x480.
For Breakneck, performance was good all around for the most part. Using 2x AA performance remained solid all of the way through in 16-bit, and to 1024x768 in 32-bit. 4x AA was a bit of a different story, where performance was good up to 1024x768 in 16-bit and 800x600 in 32-bit.
