CAPCOM's Lost Planet coming to the PC

Thanks to our forum member, keyn, for pointing out an article on Gamasutra reporting that NVIDIA confirmed previous reports it is helping CAPCOM bring Lost Planet, previously a XBOX 360 exclusive, to the PC platform. Among the confirmation, NVIDIA has also mentioned the PC version will feature DirectX 10 support, allow resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 and include "advanced special effects, and improved lighting and shadows."

It's not entirely clear at this point if the game will require DirectX 10 (and therefore Windows Vista as well) and if not, whether these improved effects will also be available to users of the previous version of the API.
