The U.S.-based National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has given their prestigious 58th annual Technology & Engineering Emmy awards for 2006 at Las Vegas, on the first night of CES. Included was a group Emmy awarded to Microsoft, AMD, and NVIDIA. The citation is for "Pioneering Work in Near and Real-Time fully programmable Shading via Modern Graphics Processors". This is a well-deserved award; Beyond3D heartily congratulates all three recipients, and thanks them for their contributions . . . past, present, and future.
