NVIDIA 100.54 Drivers for Vista and G80 officially released

As expected, NVIDIA officially released ForceWare version 100.54 for Vista for the 8800 GTX and 8800 GTS. NVIDIA's download page still points to 97.46 as the driver of choice for any earlier cards under Vista, so while 100.54 supports the GeForce 6 and 7 series, it might not be a good idea to use it and expect stability. Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions are available.

These are the drivers given to press last week, and I (as well as much of the B3D staff) have been running them for about a week. We're all in agreement that they are much more stable than the 100.30 drivers that were previously leaked. Look for a full exploration of Vista, Direct3D 10, and support for it from the major IHVs in the coming weeks.
